Climbing Mt. Qixing

-- Pat Ament We (husband + moi) along with some friends decided on exploring Mt. Qixing in the month of July (year 2013). We headed to Yangmingshan National Park to climb Mt. Qixing (七星山). Also known as Seven Star Mountain, Qixing is located in the center of the park and is the highest mountain at the rim of Taipei City and Taipei Basin. It is also the highest (dormant) volcano in Taiwan. Its main peak is 1,120 meters (3,675 ft) above sea level. Established in 1985, the park features unique volcanic landscape which no other national park in Taiwan bares and abundant fauna and flora species.

Two states - random coffee dates - soul mates: is our sweet & short love story. Given all the choices on earth me and my hubby opted to go to Bali for our honeymoon.  A place I fell in love with instantly after reading Eat Pray Love. And I am so glad that we visited our dream destination.
Bali is a land that seems to have a magnet at its very heart. It is a feeling that is difficult to understand unless experienced but once visited you are surely compelled to come back and you may even want to stay forever, such is its pull. A truly beautiful tropical island inhabited by remarkably artistic people, breathtaking panoramas of cultivated rice terraces, impressive volcanoes and pristine beaches.

Beach Paradise Phuket

This is my first blog and yeah I am excited. Nothing better than to start by writing about my favorite activity - Traveling. The idea is not to bore you with a whole lot of information rather share with you our travel experiences that would help if you ever decide to venture the same way. And I am sure at the end of it you would not have any questions. Hopefully not.
We (my hubby and me) both keen travel enthusiasts decided rather ended up visiting Phuket this June. Traveling for us is about exploring a country to the of best of our knowledge. To be honest this was not a well planned trip rather a last minute one and man it was worth it.
